As a developer, I had the privilege of developing a mobile application for both Android and iOS platforms, featuring an online video veterinary consultancy. The goal was to provide a convenient and efficient way for pet owners to seek veterinary advice and guidance remotely.
To support the mobile application, I developed a comprehensive backend system using PHP and MySQL, which includes articles, vet clinic information, appointment scheduling, and membership management. Additionally, I designed a veterinarian portal to facilitate consultation summaries, client information reviews, and appointment scheduling.
The application features an automatic countdown of 15 minutes while both parties are connected for online video veterinary consultancy. Users can create appointments by selecting from a list of symptoms, and they can access a list of Hong Kong vet clinics maintained by the backend system. Payment is facilitated through Stripe API, ensuring a secure and seamless transaction process.
Overall, I am grateful for the opportunity to have contributed to such a valuable solution for pet owners. By providing a platform for online video veterinary consultancy, I hope to have made it easier for pet owners to receive the care and guidance their pets need. I am proud to have been a part of this project, and I am committed to continuously improving and enhancing the user experience.
